Engagement Told By Buhl Couple
BUHL, June 8—Mr. and Mrs. Jim Higginbotham announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Lee, to Y 3/c Max Olander, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Olander, both of Buhl. The bride-elect is attending Buhl high school. The bridegroom-elect attended Buhl schools until he entered the service In January, 1944. Yeoman Olander returned to the service June 3 following a leave spent in Buhl. His ship is docked
at Pearl Harbor.

Twelve young couple will, in years to come, recall Aug. 14 as the date of their marriages. For they exchanged vows in ceremonies performed in the Idaho Falls LDS Church.
Pres. William L. Killpack performed the first five marriages. Miss Barbara Higginbotham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orland Higginbotham, Idaho Falls, became the bride of Len Hardy White, son of Mr. and Mrs. James C. White, Susanville, Calif.

Newlyweds Are Honored at Open House
An open house was held June 5 at the Kenneth Higginbotham residence, Twin Falls, to honor the newlywed couple, Kenneth Higginbotham and the former Karen Brown, Ogden, Utah.
The couple was married June 3 in the Logan LDS Temple and a reception was held that evening at the White House Reception Center, Ogden.
The bride was gowned in a Chantilly lace sheath gown with a lace train attached at the waist with an organza bow. A hand - rolled rose held her bouffant veil, and she carried a cascade of white orchids enhanced with roses and carnations.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Clynn Wayment, Ogden, and maid of honor was Jana Higginbotham, Twin Falls. Other attendants were Mrs. Steve Dillon Logan; Roxanne Miller, Davis Calif., and junior bridesmaid Joni Higginbotham, Twin Falls Connie Brown, and Jocelyn Higginbotham were flower girls.
John Cox, Twin Falls, was best man. Ushers were Robert C. Brown, Rick Higginbotham both Twin Falls, and Alan Brown, Ogden.
The couple took a wedding trip to Denver, Colo., and the Tetons in Wyoming. They will be employed by the forest service in the Nez Perce National Forest for the summer and return to their studies ai Utah State University in the fall.

Jana Jean Higginbotham Is Betrothed to Robert Miner
SPRINGVILLE - Making the announcement of the engagement of their daughter, Jana Jean Higginbotham, to Robert H. Miner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Miner of Springville, are Mr. and Mrs. K. O. Higginbotham of Twin Falls, Ida. The wedding ceremony will take place in the Logan LDS Temple on June 8. A reception will honor the couple in Twin Falls on June 9 and the following evening June 10, a reception will be held in Springville. Miss Higginbotham graduated from Twin Falls High School and LDS Seminary. She is presently a sophomore at Utah State University. Mr. Miner is a graduate of Springville High School and LDS Seminary and is a graduate of Weltech College in Salt Lake City. He is currently in his senior year at Utah State University majoring in production management.

Couple Plans June Wedding
Mr. and Mrs. James H. Higginbotham announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Diana Rae, to Dan Ray Pope, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Pope, Twin Falls.
Miss Higginbotham is a 1969 graduate of Twin Falls High School. Mr. Pope was graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1968.
A June 19 wedding is planned at the First United Methodist Church, Twin Falls.

Wendell couple sets July date
WENDELL - Mr. and Mrs. William Higginbotham announce the engagement of their daughter, Jan, to Richard Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller, all Wendell. The couple plans a July 29 wedding at the Wendell United Methodist Church.
Miss Higginbotham was graduated from Wendell High School in 1971 and is attending Boise State College where she is majoring in home economics. She is a member of the Broncettes Drill Team and Eta Epsilon. She is employed at the office of Sears in Boise.
Miller was graduated from Wendell High School in 1968 and is attending the University of Idaho, majoring in nutrition. He is affiliated with Farm House Fraternity and is presently employed as a bookkeeper for the Boise Hotel.
